Juventus Eye Sassuolo Starlet as Moise Kean Replacement

Juventus are keen on raiding Sassuolo for another one of their star youngsters, after acquiring EURO 2020 winner Manuel Locatelli at the start of the season. The name in contention for a move to Turin is 21-year-old center-forward Giacomo Raspadori.

Juventus managed to lure back Moise Kean from Everton but his return to the Allianz Stadium hasn’t gone according to plan and he might just be shown the exit door at the end of the season. The addition of Vlahovic in the club’s forward line hasn’t done the Italian striker any good either.

However, according to reports from Calciomercato, Juventus will ponder a move for Raspadori if Kean will leave the Old Lady. The Sassuolo starlet has been a major subject of conversation ever since his growth up the club’s ranks. He has constantly been linked to a number of Azzurri clubs, including Milan and Inter.

The Nerazzurri are aiming to strike a deal for Raspadori’s equally in-demand teammate Gianluca Scamacca, whereas the Rossoneri’s stance is yet unknown.

The Neroverdi youth product has a market value of €20m, according to transfermarkt, and nothing less than that amount could prompt club president Giovanni Carnevali to enter negotiations for the agile striker’s departure.

Raspadori has 7 goals and 4 assists in 26 appearances for Sassuolo this season. He made his debut for the Italy national team last year and already has 7 caps with the national side, scoring one goal in the process.
