Juventus Face Giant Threat in Improbable Attempt to Bring Back Pogba

Despite completing few rich deals, PSG are not done spending and are ready to launch their bid to acquire Paul Pogba. The French club has opened talks with his entourage to inquire about the possible transfer. The star midfielder has just a year left on his deal with Manchester United. His name will continue to come up in the rumor mill until he extends it. According to RMC Sport, the 28-year-old is open to a move to France this summer.

Juventus have been extensively linked to Pogba over the years due to his connection to the club. However, long-time director Fabio Paratici recently revealed that a reunion has never been a tangible option. He spoke to Sky Sport: “We have remained attached to the players we have had. He joined when he was 18, he grew up with us, and it was very satisfying to see him have success. We stayed in touch. However, I think his return is very difficult. In the past, there was never a moment when we were really close to bringing him back.”

Real Madrid have also shown interest in Pogba and could try to arrange a star-studded swap. In fact, Manchester United are chasing after Raphael Varane and have offered €58M, Marca informs. Both European powerhouses are also pursuing Rennes’ starlet Eduardo Camavinga, who could move for €30M because his deal is up in 2022. The possibility of a trade between Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo timidly emerged in the early days of the transfer market, but the Red Devils were not keen on it, ESPN stated.
