Juventus Fans Take a Jab at Sarri Following Massive Lazio Win

Juventus won their final match of 2022, cruising to a 3-0 win in an all-important top-of-the-table clash against Lazio before the World Cup break. The Bianconeri proved too hot to handle for the Biancocelesti, with a brace from Moise Kean and a tap-in by Arkadiusz Milik doing the job in Turin. The home fans took the chance to wind up ex-coach Maurizio Sarri, teasing him with chants towards the end of the game – asking the Italian tactician to ‘jump’ with them.

“Sarri salta con noi” – literally translating to “Sarri come jump with us” was heard ringing around the arena when three points were all but secured.

The 63-year-old coach was in charge of the Bianconeri in the 2019/20 season, in which he won the Scudetto, before being sacked the following season after elimination from the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie by Porto.

Sarri is not remembered fondly at the Allianz Stadium despite his one-season Serie A title-winning stint.

Juventus move to third in the league, two behind Milan and ten behind leaders Napoli. Meanwhile, Lazio fail to close the gap to the top, falling down to fourth position and one point behind the Bianconeri.
