Juventus have decided to make Kenan Yildiz their new no.10. The legendary number belonged to Paul Pogba last season, who had very few opportunities to wear it on the pitch. The call was contingent on the talent agreeing to a new contract, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

His signature will arrive right at the buzzer. The Bianconeri will hand over the final list to the League on Sunday, the day before their opener versus Como. The prodigy will get to properly follow the footsteps of his idol Alessandro Del Piero.

Juventus had already locked up Yildiz long term last year. However, his salary was relatively low, and his camp wanted his new status to be recognized. He has made 27 appearances in Serie A, scoring twice, and is poised for his first season as a regular starter.
