Juventus Handed Nicolo Zaniolo Transfer Boost

Galatasaray forward Nicolo Zaniolo reportedly ‘dreams’ of returning to Serie A to fulfill his childhood fantasy of playing for Juventus. As per Calciomercato, the 24-year-old is ready to rebuff high-end clients from Saudi Arabia to join Massimiliano Allegri’s troops.

Zaniolo left his homeland to team up with Galatasaray last January. After a long-running saga, the Italy international cut ties with Roma to embark on a new career in Turkey. His early months in Istanbul have been a resounding success as he netted five times in his first ten Super Lig starts for Okan Buruk’s side.

His outstanding showings in Galatasaray’s title-winning season have not gone under the radar. Numerous wealthy clubs from Saudi Arabia have taken an interest in Zaniolo. However, he’d be willing to pass on the riches of the Gulf country to facilitate a move to Juventus, who are still in the picture.

Perhaps more than ever, particularly in light of Dusan Vlahovic’s uncertain future at the Allianz Stadium. Zaniolo would be more of a replacement for Angel Di Maria. But his well-documented scoring prowess could go a long way in quenching the Italians’ goalscoring thirst should the Serb hit the road.

Juventus cannot compete with the Saudis’ financial strength. Yet the player’s wish could tip the scales in their favor. Still, if they decide to pursue Zaniolo’s signature, they may have to be ready to allocate substantial funds.

The player’s contract at Galatasaray runs out in 2027. It means the Turks are in a perfect bargaining position. Therefore, Juventus cannot hope to get Zaniolo on favorable terms.
