Juventus Held a Summit with the Agents of Fabian Ruiz

The representatives of Fabian Ruiz paid Juventus a visit earlier this week. The Bianconeri are famously looking for a midfielder in January. The Spaniard hasn’t had a starring role under Luis Enrique and wouldn’t mind coming back to Italy, TuttoSport informs.

The former Napoli star is well familiar with Cristiano Giuntoli, who acquired him from Real Betis back in 2018. He eventually left two summers ago, as Napoli cashed in €23M ten months before the end of his contract.

At this stage, there’s no ongoing negotiation between PSG and Juventus for Fabian Ruiz. The Old Lady gathered intel about the prospective terms. It wouldn’t be a cheap deal since his price tag is around €30M. In addition, he makes a robust €5M per year.

Eventually, the Bianconeri would pursue a season-long loan with a conditioned obligation to buy if the Ligue 1 powerhouse was open to letting him go. He has appeared 13 times so far, starting on 5 occasions. He has scored and assisted once.

Our Take on Juventus and Fabian Ruiz

The pool of options would be narrow if their management listened to Massimiliano Allegri, who reportedly wants an established player with previous Serie A experience. He lacks a bit of pace but would restore some of the technique they have been deprived of. If those are the criteria, only a favorable formula would allow them to make a serious splash.
