Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The Bianconeri have shown a lot of interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic but there is a fair chance they could miss out on his signature. In case that happens, Juve will try to sign his national team colleague Mitrovic, as claimed by Football League World. Villarreal are interested in the 27-year-old as well.
Currently valued at €16m according to Transfermarkt, Mitrovic has been performing brilliantly for Fulham in the Championship, scoring 21 goals while providing five assists in 18 appearances across all competitions so far. He also scored the last-gasp winner that booked Serbia’s place in next year’s World Cup, against all odds.
Since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus are missing a lethal goal-scorer and Vlahovic would be a massive addition to their squad. However, there is a good chance the Bianconeri could miss out on him due to Fiorentina’s asking price.
Mitrovic is a good scorer but his recent performances in top-flight football has been far from convincing. However, that doesn’t guarantee that he will not do well in Serie A.
