The defender has been linked with a Serie A return a few times since joining the Gunners. The 24-year-old has featured 30 times in the most recent campaign, starting on 15 occasions in the Premier and Champions League combined. Juventus would need to offer at least €20M to sign Kiwior from Arsenal. The talks could ramp up after Euro 2024 if Bologna keep putting up strong resistance for Calafiori. The latest rumors suggest they asked for €50M as they have to give half the income to Basel. The two outfits can’t sidestep the re-sale clause through a swap. The Swiss side protected itself against that.

They seem eager to get a lefty and rightly so. He’d be a good fit, but he’s a more standard contributor than Calafiori, who shined for his ball handling in particular. It could be just a misdirection to get Bologna to lower their demands. Despite his secondary role, Arsenal have never seemed too eager to part ways with him when other Italian sides came asking. He’ll have to force his way out.
