Juventus Lead Inter in Transfer Market Derby d’Italia for Serie B Sensation

Juventus are keen on reinforcing their youth setup by targeting one of Italian football’s hottest prospects in Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca.

The Bianconeri wish to add to their ever-growing talented roster of youngsters that already include Federico Chiesa, Manuel Locatelli, Mohamed Ihattaren, Radu Dragusin, Matthijs De Ligt and Kaio Jorge.

According to reports from Todofichajes, Derby d’Italia giants Inter and Juventus are the frontrunners for the Azzurri sensation, who has already accumulated 6 goals and 1 assist in 10 appearances for the Serie B club this term.

But, it is the Bianconeri who are leading the race for his signature, and not the Nerazzurri.

Having already sent a handful of scouts to Tuscany to monitor his progress, the Turin giants hope to conclude a deal in the January window and potentially leave him at Pisa for another 6 months on loan.

His contract in Pisa is bound to expire in June 2025, leaving the club ample space to negotiate on his asking price of €5m, according to transfermarkt.

Lucca is touted to be the next Luca Toni due to their similar physical characteristics and style of play and both being typical in-the-box centre-forwards.
