Legendary Del Piero ‘Surprised’ Dybala Still Without Team

Alessandro Del Piero weighed in on the Paulo Dybala transfer saga, which has hit the cold water in recent days. His likely suitors Inter have turned their attention towards onboarding Romelu Lukaku and cutting down their large squad instead.

Milan have also expressed interest, along with Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal, but no advances have taken place over the past couple of days.

Taking into consideration the situation at hand, Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero revealed his surprise to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia (via Tuttomercatoweb) at the fact that Dybala hasn’t found his team yet.

“I saw him well in black and white. It will be strange when he will wear a different jersey. He has qualities that can be perfectly combined with any striker and midfielder, his role as a glue is ideal on the frontline. I’m surprised he hasn’t yet found his team.”

The former Palermo man left the Bianconeri at the end of last season after failing to agree terms of contract for an extension. He left the Old Lady following seven successive seasons, registering an impressive record of 115 goals in 293 appearances. However, his high demands on wages have cooled the interest in his services.
