Juventus Linked to Old Objective as Barcelona Pursue Morata

Juventus have been offered Arkadiusz Milk, as they might need an immediate replacement for Alvaro Morata, who is in talks with Barcelona. The Bianconeri tracked him at length before he joined Marseille. He has not had a ton of success in Ligue 1 due to multiple injuries.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Polish striker is not one of the top options for the Old Lady. However, he is the easiest to sign. The French club would have to activate their €9M obligation to buy from Napoli first. Then, they would send him back to Italy with a similar formula.

Morata might leave Juventus in the upcoming window, as Barcelona opened talks to sign him, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. Coach Xavi specifically asked for him. The negotiation is complex because his rights belong to Atletico Madrid. Therefore, three teams have to agree to the deal. But it is possible because the player okayed the move. The Bianconeri were already unlikely to keep the Spaniard past the current season. They are leaning towards not exercising their €35M option to redeem him.

Juventus will need to find a proper replacement before allowing their main striker to join Barcelona, Goal.com reports. They do not seem keen on Memphis Depay, as they want a pure no.9. Before Milik arose as an option, they were after Gianluca Scamacca and Mauro Icardi. But they are not close to an agreement with either Sassuolo or PSG. The Colchoneros and the Blaugrana have yet to reach an understanding on the terms for Morata too.
