Juventus Linked with Move for ‘Spanish Bale’ from Villarreal

It is understood that Juventus are looking for reinforcements come next summer, and a name from La Liga has emerged as a potential transfer for the Bianconeri, as relayed by the player’s agent himself.

The representative of Villarreal full-back Alfonso Pedraza, Hector Peris Ros, spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Tuttomercatoweb) in an exclusive interview and shared interesting information regarding his client’s status.

“In the last days of August, we talked about it with Inter, but the deal did not go through because there was a short time before the closing of the transfer market. In
the past, Atalanta had also shown interest. With Villarreal the agreements are clear: if the offer of a big one arrives, all the parties will take it seriously.”

However, Hector believes Juventus look likely contenders to push for Pedraza in the transfer market.

“We know they’re looking for a left-back. It can be a good idea, let’s see.”

The 26-year-old wingback has starred regularly at Villarreal, but the former Spanish U21 international also has experience elsewhere, albeit for a short period of time, on loan at Leeds United. He has been referred to as the ‘Spanish Bale’ in the past by Yahoo Sports.
