Juventus could sell Matias Soulé, but only if one of his suitors meets their conspicuous demands and if they have no alternative.

Juventus Make Crucial Decision on Roma Target’s Future

There’s no longer a shred of doubt. Juventus are hellbent on cashing on highly-rated Matias Soule as Roma and Leicester City go head-to-head for the youngster’s services. According to Calciomercato, Thiago Motta’s men will listen to offers for the 21-year-old, hoping to earn at least €30 million from his departure.

Despite going from strength to strength during his season-long loan at Frosinone in 2023/24, Soule has no future at Juventus. The versatile forward enjoyed a dazzling Serie A campaign, netting 11 goals and providing three assists. Though the Turin giants remain blind to his qualities, Roma have recognized the Argentine’s talent.

However, Daniele De Rossi’s side must see off stiff competition from Leicester. After sanctioning Kieran Dewsbury-Hall’s transfer to Chelsea, the newly-promoted Premier League team wants to hire Soule as the Englishman’s replacement. They’ve already initiated talks with Juventus and are seemingly prepared to splash out cash.

Meanwhile, Roma can’t afford to spend €30m on a single player after pouring around €25m into Rennes’ bank accounts to sign Enzo Le Fee. But having developed a genuine interest in Soule, they’re unwilling to back off. The Giallorossi hope that the youngster’s desire to stay in Italy could work in their favor.

While Leicester’s proposal quenches Juventus’ appetites, Soule’s ambition to join Roma brings this transfer saga to a standstill. Juventus must raise funds to launch an assault on Teun Koopmeiners and are unlikely to lower their claims.

They’ve already signed Michele Di Gregorio, Khephren Thuram, and Douglas Luiz. Therefore, they must focus on the outgoing front. Roma are patiently waiting around the corner, ready to take Soule to the capital on favorable terms.
