Record-time Serie A champions Juventus could reportedly consider selling rising star Kenan Ylidiz in the summer. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turkish starlet’s future at the Allianz Stadium hinges on securing a top-four finish.
Indeed, Juventus had deemed the 19-year-old untouchable ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. After a raft of summer signings and Thiago Motta’s arrival, the Turin giants had hoped to fight for the Scudetto after a dismal four-year title drought.
However, a high volume of draws has ruled Juventus out of the title picture at the halfway stage of Motta’s first season in the dugout. Furthermore, their hopes of capturing a coveted Champions League qualification are hanging by a thread.
Despite winning three consecutive Serie A games for the first time this season, Juventus sit level on points with fifth-placed Lazio and only four clear of sixth-placed Fiorentina. On top of that, seventh-placed Milan are five points behind with a game in hand.
Failing to secure a seat at Europe’s top table could force Juventus to offload their prized asset in the summer. Indeed, the club would reportedly consider offers in the region of €80-90 million despite turning down a substantial bid from Chelsea last summer.
Yildiz’s recent form has cast further doubt on his future at Juventus. Since netting in a 1-1 derby draw against Torino at the start of 2025, Yildiz has gone six consecutive league appearances without scoring.
With the youngster’s long-term prospects at the Allianz Stadium in doubt, Juventus could swoop for outgoing Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
