Juventus Make Two Serie A Midfielders Top Priority

With the Bianconeri already planning their roster for the new season, two names have resurfaced in the club’s shortlist for reinforcements. Despite reports of Angel Di Maria’s contract renewal growing increasingly concrete by the day, it is understood Juventus want new and perhaps young blood in their roster.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TuttoJuve), Davide Frattesi is the hottest name in the Turin club’s books, as the youngster’s links with Roma gradually fade. The Giallorossi have maintained a keen interest in their youth product since his move to Sassuolo, but talks between Roma and Neroverdi chief Giovanni Carnevale have led nowhere.

Lecce midfield ace Morten Hjulmand is also in the spotlight, with his continuous displays for the Salentini under Marco Baroni attracting the attention of Juventus despite his side fighting in the lower half of the Serie A table. Roma are also interested in Hjulmand.

Juventus seem eager to boost their midfield line, with the central midfield position up for grabs. With all the reports flying around, Leandro Paredes is set to depart at the end of the season, as is Adrien Rabiot and perhaps even injury-prone Paul Pogba.
