Juventus and Sassuolo are set to meet again later today to discuss the possible transfer of Gianluca Scamacca, as the Supercup versus Napoli will be played at Mapei Stadium, the home of the Neroverdi. Their CEO Giovanni Carnevali told Sportitalia: “Scamacca is being pursued by multiple teams, not only by Juventus. We loaned him out since he needed to play because of his young age. We will have a summit with Fabio Paratici, but the negotiation is far from over. Considering the moment, investments are rare: Scamacca might have the opportunity to go to a foreign team, not just to the Bianconeri.”
The talks are ongoing and the two sides have agreed on a €20/23 evaluation for the player, however Sassuolo want an obligation to buy after the initial six or 18-month loan, while Juventus prefer an option, however the inclusion of one or two youngsters could solve the impasse, transfer market expert Alfredo Pedullà reported.
Calciomercato.com informs Sassuolo asked for Radu Dragusin and Felix Correia, but the Old Lady refused to insert them in the deal for different reasons. The 18-year-old defender has an expiring contract and Juventus are having troubles on his extension, while Correia was evaluated €10M when he was acquired from Manchester City in a swap in October, so his price tag would have to be higher for it to be worth it financially. The specialized site suggests that the solution could be 19-year-old midfielder Nicolò Fagioli, who is club grown product and therefore would net total plusvalenza.
