After posting three consecutive 0-0 draws in Serie A for the first time since 1992, Juventus returned to winning ways as Dusan Vlahovic ended his scoring drought with a second-half brace. The Serbia international converted a penalty before pouncing on Teun Koopmeiners’ assist to make it 2-0.
Summer arrival Francisco Conciecao put the icing on the cake in the dying moments with a sumptuous finish from the edge of the box as Juventus halted a three-game winless streak against Genoa in Serie A. Motta, who failed to beat this opposition in both matches last season while in charge of Bologna, hailed his side’s showing after the game.
