Juventus Might Be Priced Out for Vlahovic, Target Scamacca

Juventus could be the top destination for Dusan Vlahovic, but the Bianconeri might not have the money to sign him and see Gianluca Scamacca as a more affordable alternative. They will try to acquire the Sassuolo striker in January already, but it will not be easy.

Vlahovic will not depart in the upcoming window, Sky Italy reports. He wants to lead Fiorentina back to Europe and leave on good terms. It will take at least €70M to acquire him next summer. The main landing spots will be the English powerhouses. Bayern Munich would pursue him in the unlikely event they parted ways with Robert Lewandowski. The 21-year-old Serbian hold Real Madrid in high regard. However, they are focused on signing Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé.

The Bianconeri would be able to bankroll such investment only through a major sale. Dejan Kulusevski or Matthijs De Ligt are the main candidates for it, La Repubblica informs. While that will be a matter for July, they have a more immediate need at the position. They have discarded most of the veteran options they have been linked to so far.

Since Vlahovic is not on the table for January, Juventus will make an attempt for Scamacca, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. They will meet with Sassuolo in the first half of the month. They are plotting to offer €30/35M, proposing the same formula used for Manuel Locatelli. While they are not far from his price tag, the Neroverdi are unlikely to greenlight the sale after shipping Jeremie Boga to Atalanta.
