Juventus Might Have to Pay €60m to Sign Barcelona Star

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona forward Memphis Depay but might have to pay €60m for him.

According to Catalan newspaper El Nacional, the Dutchman is not pleased with the departure of Ronald Koeman who was a major behind him joining the Blaugrana. Depay is yet to adapt to Xavi’s principles and feels that his importance in the team is lessening.

Massimiliano Allegri believes that the former Manchester United man would be a suitable addition to the squad and wants to sign him. However, Barcelona would not sell Depay unless they receive a good offer for him, one as much as €60m.

Blaugrana president Joan Laporta wants to sign Erling Haaland and a good offer for Depay could generate the funds for the transfer.

Depay has amassed seven goals and two assists in 18 appearances across all competitions since joining Barcelona on a free this summer.

After the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus lack a lethal goal scorer but the Dutchman may not be the best option for them. They have been linked to Dusan Vlahovic a lot lately and he would be a more suitable addition to the Bianconeri’s squad.
