Juventus Mulling Over Potential Swap Deal for Tottenham Outcast

Juventus are contemplating aiding their finances by making a profit on Weston McKennie. However, they do not want to be too thin in the midfield and would eventually replace him. The American international has suitors especially in the Premier League and Bundesliga. The Bianconeri could do business with a familiar face as they are considering trading him for Tanguy Ndombélé, La Repubblica reports.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri has okayed the move because he wants to add muscularity in the position. Spurs director Fabio Paratici is obviously a fan of McKennie, whom he purchased from Schalke 04 for €25M. Juventus were tracking the French midfielder before he joins the Spurs in €60M move in 2019.

Coach Nuno Espirito Santo stated that Ndombélé asked to depart this summer. The 24-year-old midfielder did not live up to expectations in London. Also, he butted heads with the previous managers, Sky Sports UK reports. He was not part of the squad lists for the pre-season friendlies and the first official matches.

Juventus are also tracking Aurelien Tchouameni. But the Monaco starlet is expensive and in high demand, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. Instead, Miralem Pjanic will not wait much longer for the Bianconeri to decide on the reunion. Fiorentina are making a serious attempt to get him from Barcelona and will have a meeting later today, Sport reports. Napoli are also after the Bosnian midfielder as they want to acquire a new midfielder, Alfredo Pedullà relays. Luciano Spalletti is familiar with the Bosnian playmaker given their time together in Rome.
