Juventus Open to Soulé Sale but Demand a Major Figure

Matias Soulé has had a little dip in recent months, but his season remains solid. He’s one of the only four non-pure strikers to score at least ten goals in Serie A. The others are Paulo Dybala, Teun Koopmeiners, Albert Gudmundsson, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Juventus might attempt to use the Argentine as a makeweight in the deal to lure the Atalanta star. However, it’ll be more profitable to sell him outright, Calciomercato informs.

The Bianconeri and Soulé turned down a proposal from Al-Ittihad in the summer. The Saudi side offered €25M. The Old Lady is open to cashing in, as they prefer leaning on Kenan Yildiz, but want €40M to part ways with the Frosinone loanee.

Juventus might receive offers of that caliber from England. Southampton are very keen and would like to pull off a coup should they get promoted from the Championship. Crystal Palace, Newcastle, and Aston Villa signaled to be interested in previous months.

Our Take on Soulé

You never know in today’s market, but while he’s been outstanding and has a high ceiling, it’s optimistic to think the bids will be that sizeable. He and Yildiz are for no reason mutually exclusive, although it’d be a little hard to give proper minutes to both without a schematic change if Federico Chiesa stays put, whose future will probably determine everything else up. They probably won’t, but they could still loan out the Turkish talent for a season if they wanted to.
