Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has been instrumental in Napoli’s rise to the top of Serie A, facilitating the moves of some high-profile names that will most likely go down in history. Juventus have kept close tabs on the Florence-born executive for quite a while now, and more frequently since Andrea Agnelli and co stepped down from their respective positions.
According to Calciomercato, new Juventus chief John Elkann prefers Giuntoli to join the club ahead of the next season, despite his contract at Napoli expiring in June 2024. First contacts have already been established between the two parties to test the waters.

A few other names shortlisted by Juventus are Lazio’s Igli Tare, Milan’s Ricky Massara, Marseille’s Pablo Longoria, Sassuolo’s Giovanni Rossi, and Atletico Madrid’s Andrea Berta.
However, a large part of the recruitment process for the new sporting director depends heavily on the appeal of the capital gain hearing scheduled for April 19th, as current director Federico Cherubini, who’s suspended, is yet to receive a say regarding his future.
What is known for certain is that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis does not want to part ways with Giuntoli, who has onboard some of Serie A’s most prolific stars, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Victor Osimhen, Amir Rrahmani, and Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
