Juventus and Sampdoria’s cordial relationship might just witness another Bianconeri player head to Genoa on loan. After sending Radu Dragusin and Mohamed Ihattaren to Il Doria at the start of the season, another outcast is being touted for a move to Roberto D’Aversa’s side.
Mikkel Damsgaard’s lengthy injury has prompted Sampdoria to look for reinforcements, although Dutchman Ihattaren was supposed to be the alternative for the Dane forward. The ex-PSV Eindhoven talent was signed in the last summer market, but he has gone AWOL due to personal issues.
Now, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato), Brazilian starlet Kaio Jorge is being linked with a move to Sampdoria – on an initial loan deal.
The youngster was brought in from Santos in a similar fashion to Ihattaren, but has since struggled for game time at the Allianz Stadium.
He has played just 10 matches so far, scoring one goal in the process – in 201 minutes of play time.
Jorge’s departure would relieve some space in Max Allegri’s roster, as the Bianconeri plan to bring in reinforcements in a bid to earn a place in Europe.
