Despite obtaining Dusan Vlahovic during the winter transfer window from Fiorentina, Juventus are eager to sign a second striker ahead of next season as they plot a potential move for the Chelsea forward Timo Werner.
Since the German’s international €50M transfer move to the Blues from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2020, the 25 year-old marksman has only managed to score seven goals in 46 appearances across all competitions for the Premier League giants.
Despite his contract with Chelsea being set to expire in the summer of 2025, per Transfermarkt, the club officials can potentially offload the centre-forward at the end of the season as a result of his underwhelming form.
With rumours increasingly looming about the futures of many Bianconeri attackers such as Alvaro Moratta, Paulo Dybala, and Federico Bernardeschi, the Old Lady are monitoring the situation very closely as they are keen to sign a second forward that can play alongside the 22 year-old Serbian international.
Unfortunately for Juventus, the Bianconeri are not the only club within the Serie A that is interested in Werner as Milan are also very keen on obtaining the German international’s signature.
However, the Old Lady are determined to keep moving word despite the tense competition they face as they are in great need of another forward within the squad for next year’s campaign.
