Juventus Prepare to Lose Another Star Forward Post Dybala Debacle

With Paulo Dybala all but set to leave Turin in the summer, another one of Juventus’ ace forwards’ futures is up in the air. Having arrived from Fiorentina in 2017/18, the 28-year-old right winger Federico Bernardeschi has not even once renewed his contract at the Allianz Stadium, and there is little indication that it will arrive before the end of the current campaign.

According to Calciomercato, Bernardeschi is destined to leave Juventus at the end of the season. The reason touted to push him out of the club’s ranks is the club’s downgraded offer that is expected to arrive in the coming weeks.

The EURO 2020 winner earns €4m net per season in Turin, but Juventus’ offer is significantly way off his demands – around the €2.5m mark. Neither him or his agent Federico Pastorello are keen on accepting the Bianconeri’s offer.

He has not yet received any offers from big clubs, but nonetheless has been linked to top heavyweights in the past, including Spanish giants Barcelona. The Blaugrana have already held informal talks with the player’s agent.

Bernardeschi has 26 appearances to his name this season, scoring once and assisting six times across those matches – registering 1,478 minutes in total.

The Italy international has never played outside Serie A in his professional career.
