Juventus want a new goalkeeper to arrive at the club within the next season, as Wojciech Szczesny enters the final year of his contract once the campaign finishes. And although substitute keeper Mattia Perin sees his deal expire in 2025, the Bianconeri are eager to sign new blood to man the posts, with Atalanta prodigy Marco Carnesecchi atop their list.
According to Calciomercato, the starlet remains at the top of the list of prospective goalkeepers studied by the Continassa-based side. The 22-year-old Rimini-born shotstopper, who is currently on loan at Cremonese from Atalanta, is viewed as the perfect candidate to succeed the aforementioned duo.
Carnesecchi would be a relatively affordable option for Juventus, with Atalanta reportedly willing to sell him for around €20M. There have already been continuous contacts with the player’s entourage as his spell with the Grigiorossi nears its end.
