Juventus ‘Pushing’ to Sign Man Utd Winger

Juventus seem unwilling to put the brakes on their outrageous recruitment spree after agreeing a massive double swoop. According to transfer expert Romeo Agresti, Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is ‘pushing’ to sign Manchester United flop Jadon Sancho.

Nicolas Gonzalez and Francisco Conceicao are on the verge of joining Thiago Motta’s side. Both players feature on the wing, where Juventus appear well-covered. Andrea Cambiaso, Samuel Mbangula, and Timothy Weah are other options at Motta’s disposal.

However, Juventus want to add another quicksilver forward to their ranks to bolster their hopes of ending a four-year title drought in Serie A. Sancho has been on the club’s radar since the start of the summer. Yet, his significant wages looked well out of the Italians’ reach.

There’s a way Juventus can overcome that roadblock. They must sell Federico Chiesa to make room in their wage bill. Wanted by Barcelona, the former Fiorentina winger is both feet outside the Allianz Stadium. Chiesa’s exit would allow the Turin giants to sign Sancho.

Despite reconciling with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, the 24-year-old remains a fringe player at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are open to letting him leave since it’d help them save on his substantial salary.

Sancho showed glimpses of his talent during a six-month loan at Borussia Dortmund in the second half of last season. If the English forward could keep up with that kind of form, he would be a decent coup for Juventus.
