Juventus Put Together Improved Offer to Sign Fiorentina Star

Juventus are plotting to make another serious attempt to acquire Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina in January. The Bianconeri unsuccessfully tried to arrange a deal in late November. They have eyed other strikers lately, but the Serbian ace remains their top target, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The player himself is rumored to have the Old Lady as one of his favorite destinations. The Viola have often urged the center-forward to make a decision on his future. The Turin outfit is aware that the competition will only intensify. Their management is willing to utilize part of next summer’s budget in the current window.

Juventus plan to offer Fiorentina €35M plus Dejan Kulusevski. The Swedish starlet has a €35M evaluation in their mind, so it would be a €70M package. It is the same fee Arsenal have reportedly put on the table but only in cash. The Old Lady’s previous bid amounted to €50M, the publication adds. Vlahovic would get a €6M annual salary. His agent Darko Ristic met with Bianconeri’s sporting director Federico Cherubini recently. He indicated that the player is open to moving in January.

It is unsure whether the Viola will agree with that or will hold out till the summer to wait for more enticing offers. Their director Joe Barone quickly dismissed the rumor to Rai. While coach Vincenzo Italiano appreciates Kulusevski, his price tag could be a point of contention between the two clubs. If Juventus somehow came to terms with Fiorentina, they would let Alvaro Morata join Barcelona.
