The Turin-based outfit has not changed its stance on Alvaro Morata. They will not activate their €35M clause to buy. Nor do they want to spend as much as Atletico Madrid demand, €27-28M, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. They would like to keep the Spaniard but only with a €10-15M disbursement.

If they could not strike a deal, which is looking increasingly likely, Juventus would direct the same sum toward buying Muriel. La Dea has a higher evaluation, but the sides are on good terms. More importantly, the outcome hinges on the plans of the Nerazzurri. Considering that they will not play in Europe next season, they could decide to lean heavily on just Duvan Zapata, allowing his compatriot to walk.
The Bianconeri also covet Giacomo Raspadori, but it will depend on whether they will be able to offload Moise Kean, the outlet suggests. Muriel would welcome a move to Juventus, Calciomercato informs. Plus, his wages are rather low, about €2M.

The Colombian striker would make sense as a replacement for Alvaro Morata, especially because he would easily fit next to Dusan Vlahovic rather than serving as a pure backup. He would be a better option than Marko Arnautovic, for instance. The Juventus bench has lacked electricity for years, and Muriel would address that. On the other hand, Atalanta tend to drive a hard bargain if they do not want to let a player go.
