Juventus Reignite Interest in Paris Saint-Germain Midfielder

Juventus’ plans for a reinforced midfield has taken a new turn as the Bianconeri eye Ligue 1 star. Max Allegri’s side have already been linked to a host of midfielders from the French league, including Aurelien Tchouameni, Renato Sanches and Boubakar Kamara, but so far have failed to establish anything concrete.

However, all that might change with the potential onboarding of Paris Saint-Germain star Leandro Paredes, according to reports from Tuttosport (via Calciomercato). The Argentine center-midfielder has been linked with the Bianconeri in the past but nothing materialized between the two parties back then.

The former Roma and Empoli center-half has established himself as an adept ball-winner in Paris, ever since moving from Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2018/19. He has made 112 appearances for the Parisians in his three seasons so far, etching himself as one of PSG’s most consistent performers.

His contract in France expires in the summer of next year and his transfermarkt value of €20m makes him an affordable top target for any interested team, let alone Juventus.
