With the winter transfer shortly underway, Juventus are eager to make a signing as they have rekindled their interest in the Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
According to reports from Calciomercato, the Bianconeri are plotting a bid around the region of €60m in order to reel in the Serbian international into the Allianz Stadium.
So far this season, the 27 year-old midfield ace has amassed a total three goals and seven assists within nine Serie A appearances, playing a fundamental role within the central area of the pitch for the Biancocelesti through his immaculate creativity and flair.
As it stands, the skipper’s contract with the capital club is set to run out in the summer of 2024. As a result, the club officials believe that lucrative offer within the winter transfer window might be enough to persuade Lazio in having to offload Milinkovic-Savic before his value diminishes next season.
Within Juventus’ current squad, Allegri is short in depth within the central midfield as Paul Pogba is out with a long-term injury, potentially ruling the Frenchman out of the World Cup.
