Juventus are keeping tabs on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg ahead of a potential January pursuit. It should be clearer by the winter session whether Paul Pogba will be suspended for a lengthy period of time. The Bianconeri have shortlisted a few options should they intervene, Corriere della Sera informs.
The Dane hasn’t been a full-time starter under new coach Ange Postecoglu. His agents have started to look around to potentially find a new home for him if his situation doesn’t change.
The Hojbjerg camp touched base with Juventus too. His experience and skill set would be a welcomed addition to their squad. His contract expires in 2025, and his representatives and Tottenham have postponed the talks to extend it.
On the other hand, the Old Lady won’t have a big budget for the next window. That would preclude them from going after expensive targets such as for instance Nice’s Khephren Thuram, whom they covet. However, if the Spurs midfielder stayed unhappy with his playing time, a loan with an option to buy could be in the cards.

He’d be the right type of player to lift their midfield, and there are some favorable circumstances. However, they wouldn’t be the only ones aggressively pursuing him if he was made available.
