Juventus Set To Battle PSG for Moise Kean

Juventus are reportedly looking to hijack Paris Saint-Germain’s move for Everton striker Moise Kean. According to Le10Sport, the Bianconeri are enthusiastic about the idea of re-signing the Italian this summer and are ready to battle PSG for his signature.

Kean spent the 2020/21 season on loan at the Parc des Princes and was nothing short of outstanding. The 21-year-old surpassed Mauro Icardi in the pecking order in the French capital, racking up 19 goals in 45 appearances for Les Parisiens

However, PSG failed to exercise the buy-out clause in Kean’s deal that saw the striker return to Goodison Park in the summer. However, the youngster’s future in the Premier League is hanging in the balance despite Rafa Benitez’s recent statement.

The newly-appointed Everton boss has admitted that he wants to keep hold of Kean but opened the door for a potential sale. But it’s understood that the Spaniard would only sanction the striker’s departure outright, which means no new loan deals are on the table.

Kean was on Juventus’ payroll for three years before leaving Turin for Everton in summer 2019 for a reported fee of €27.5million plus add-ons. Massimiliano Allegri is a big admirer of the prodigious youngster and would like to bring him back to the Allianz Stadium by the end of the ongoing transfer window.

A potential stumbling block could be Everton’s demands, as they are only willing to give the go-ahead if they can recoup the money they paid Juventus two years ago. The Bianconeri remain keen on adding a new forward this season, though such a figure could be out of reach for the Serie A powerhouse.
