With a week remaining within the winter transfer window, Juventus have entered pole-position within the race for the Serie A leading-goal scorer’s signature, Dusan Vlahovic.
According to Sky Italia, the Bianconeri are set to offer Fiorentina a hefty fee of €70M to sign the 22 year-old Serbian international. With Vlahovic expressing a huge desire to remain within the top-flight league of Italy, it seems inevitable that the marksman’s next destination will be the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
As it stands, Vlahovic’s contract with the Viola is set to expire in the summer of 2023. However, as it seems Alvaro Morata might seem on his way out from the Old Lady, the club officials are eager to lure the promising striker to Juventus as quickly as possible due to the fact that they view him as a key asset within their long-term project.
So far throughout this year’s Serie A campaign, the young Serbian has been in extraordinary form as the rising star has scored 17 goals and provided two assists in 21 games played for Fiorentina.
Despite the Premier League giants Arsenal expressing an immense amount of interest for the Serbian international, the Bianconeri are prepared to take a significant leap forward within the race for the signature of the Viola marksman as they firmly believe that he can play a vital role in helping the club obtain glory within the near-future through his sublime dribbling technique, his tremendous amount of speed and physicality, and his clinical goal-scoring ability within the final third of the pitch.
