Juventus Ship Marko Pjaca to Torino, Working on Few More Departures

Marko Pjaca has officially completed the crosstown transfer to Torino. He joined the Granata on a season-long loan with a €7M option to sign him. Once a touted prospect, the Croatian winger is at his fifth team in as many seasons. He previously played at Schalke 04, Fiorentina, Anderlecht, and Genoa, always on temporary spells. Juventus are looking to part ways with few more out-of-favor players.

Merih Demiral remains on Atalanta’s radar should they sell Cristian Romero. Instead, Borussia Dortmund might not reach the price tag indicated by the Bianconeri. Director Sebastian Kehl told Bild: “I do not want to single out any particular name, but we are searching for a defender. However, we want to see how some of our injured players progress first. We are ready for any scenario, but we will not spend much on a new addition. The COVID-19 pandemic caused heavy losses, and we have to pay attention to our balance sheets.”

Juventus might get rid of two fringe contributors through swap deals. According to Calciomercatoweb.it, they are exploring a potential trade with PSG involving Aaron Ramsey and Ander Herrera. The Basque midfielder is an alternative to Miralem Pjanic.

Moreover, the rumored exchange between Federico Bernardeschi and Alessio Romagnoli is still an option. Mino Raiola represents both players, who have expiring contracts. The two sides will consider it late in the window if they have to make up for some departures in those roles, SportMediaset reports. Lazio is pursuing Daniele Rugani, Il Tempo relays, while Gianluca Frabotta could transfer to Verona or Genoa on loan, Tuttosport informs.
