Juventus Sketch Out Their Future Transfer Market Plans

Juventus completed two deals in January, signing Tiago Djaló and Carlos Alcaraz without spending a lot. The former was paid €3.5M plus bonuses, while the latter was brought in on an initial loan. They were constrained by the liquidity index and the fact that they parted ways with just one player, Dean Huijsen, while Moise Kean’s exit fell through.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady will be a lot busier in the summer. They’ll have to decide whether to continue with Massimiliano Allegri since his contract runs out in 2025. The manager is more likely to be confirmed. He’d have to take a lower salary than his current €7M, though.

Juventus have three targets in mind in particular. On top of Teun Koopmeiners and Felipe Anderson, whom they have been pursuing for a while, they are keen on Riccardo Calafiori, who has blossomed at Bologna. The Felsinei paid €4M to sign him from Basel last summer.

The Bianconeri won’t confirm Alex Sandro and will listen to the wealthy bids potentially coming from the Premier League for Gleison Bremer and Federico Gatti.

The Juventus brass hope Adrien Rabiot will ink an extension and plan to cash in on Matias Soulé handsomely. Kenan Yildiz will stay and pen a renewal, while the future of Federico Chiesa will hinge on whether he’ll do the same. If he doesn’t, Domenico Berardi and Mattia Zaccagni could replace him. Despite the recent developments, they’ll keep an eye on Georgy Sudakov.
