Juventus youth product Nicolo Fagioli, who was brought into the first-team squad as a result of Massimiliano Allegri keeping an eye out for him, has expressed his disappointment at not being able to beat Atalanta in the thrilling 3-3 draw.
Fagioli spoke to Juventus’ Twitch channel (via TuttoJuve) and also revealed the mood around the dressing room after the 15 point deduction handed to the club as a result of financial mismanagement.
“We didn’t expect 15 points, but we can’t help it. We just have to take the field and try to get to the Champions League. The management will fight to get this penalty removed, they told us to rest assured and to put even more passion on the pitch.”
Fagioli shed light on his biggest dream.
“My biggest dream with Juventus is to win the Champions League by dreaming big. Then the championship, which I’m hoping to do soon.”
The 21-year-old also disclosed his childhood idols.
“As a child it was [Alessandro] Del Piero, then I would say Dybala.”
Fagiolo has been used rather occasionally by Allegri this season, appearing 13 times for the Bianconeri and registering 4 goals and as many assists.
