Juventus Start Seeking a Dybala-Like Player Up Front

Juventus wish to add more inventiveness to their squad following the departure of Angel Di Maria and due to a possible tactical switch and could look for a player that would de facto replace Paulo Dybala a year after his departure.

Per TuttoSport, the Bianconeri have two cheap options on their radar, Daichi Kamada and Yusuf Yazici. The former has reached agreement with Milan. However, the Rossoneri are sorting out how to fill their remaining slot to sign an extra-EU player.

Dybala himself is an idea for the position, but it’d be an expensive one considering a €17M annual cost. He has a €20M release clause for Italian clubs, which Roma can neutralize, and his wages would be no less than €10M gross. His return would have mixed reactions among their fans. The management hasn’t seriously thought about it.

Massimiliano Allegri is considering Paul Pogba for the role, but the Bianconeri could add another piece if the right opportunity arises. Lorient’s Enzo Le Fée is a pricier target.

Our Take on Juventus and Dybala

The irony of the past season is that the Old Lady also let him go for tactical reasons, but then they ended up using 3-5-2, which suits him perfectly. Despite the chatter and the coach’s ancient love for 4-3-1-2, they are still operating according to their recent scheme. They’ll probably do something big only if Dusan Vlahovic and/or Federico Chiesa leave.
