Juventus Striker Kean Explains His Road to Redemption

Moise Kean has lofty goals for his career even though his return to Turin hasn’t been particularly satisfying. He chatted about his past and future with Corriere dello Sport.

“I transferred a lot, now I work hard to have stability and continuity. I have a four-man staff that takes care of me, including a nutritionist and trainer. My wish is to avoid wasting energy and amend some mistakes of the past. I want to score for myself and Juventus.”

“I still have time to improve, but I generally don’t look too far ahead. Mohamed Salah became who he currently is at 25, Sadio Mané much later. I was lucky enough to play next to champions that made me grow. Cristiano Ronaldo works hard to be the best in the world. He wasn’t content with just utilizing his talent.”

Kean spoke highly of Massimiliano Allegri.

“He has always treated me like a man since my Primavera days. He was harsh but in the right way. Many things have changed since then. I discovered the right way, and I’m pursuing it. Dusan Vlahovic is very strong, he’s an excellent person and feels the burden of his responsibility. When a striker doesn’t score for a few matches in a row, the tension rises.”

Kean addressed Nicolò Zaniolo and dished on the oriundi in the Azzurri squad.

“He’s great guy and a friend. We had some good time together. Maye a little too much, but we were young. He made a choice, and we talk almost daily. He’s happy in Turkey and he’ll prove his worth. As for Italy, I don’t see it as a problem, as long as they are willing to sweat for the jersey.”
