Juventus Striker Likely Staying Amid Tepid Interest

A few sides inquired about Moise Kean, but he’s likely to stay put at Juventus. Milan, Sevilla, and Fulham reportedly asked about the terms to onboard him, but neither followed suit. Only the Cottagers retain some interest.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the striker will probably remain part of the team. He missed the opener due to a knock but resumed training regularly Tuesday. Director Cristiano Giuntoli mentioned him as one of their offensive options and dismissed the buzz suggesting he was ruled out for disciplinary reasons or because on the verge of leaving before the Udinese game to DAZN (via OneFootball).

Juventus would need somebody to pay a hefty sum for Kean to avoid a loss. He headed back to Turin in 2021 on a €7M loan from Everton. The Bianconeri were forced to buy him out this summer for €30M. His cost on the balance sheets is cumbersome.

Milan touched base for him amid their search for a new striker but quickly moved on. He has two more years on his contract with the Old Lady. He scored 22 times and provided 3 assists in 103 total appearances donning the black-and-white colors.

Our Take on Juventus and Kean

There’s no doubt they would quickly offload if somebody lodged a €20M plus bid, but no side is going to tender that much for such an inconsistent and mercurial player.
