Juventus to Bid for Morata Only Under One Condition

Juventus touched base with the agent of Alvaro Morata while he was in Italy, but their interest isn’t as intense as other teams. His third spell could materialize only if the Bianconeri sold Federico Chiesa first, Tuttomercatoweb informs.

At this stage, the ex-Fiorentina winger hasn’t asked to depart, nor has the club received compelling offers. Most of the Bianconeri are available but only at the right prices.

Juventus could revisit Morata down the line if he hasn’t left yet. Inter made the largest strides, offering €15M to Atletico Madrid, which demand €21M. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Spanish striker has given his priority to Roma because he would have a bigger role, his friendship with Paulo Dybala, and José Mourinho’s pitch. However, the ownership hasn’t rubber-stamped the investment. The Giallorossi will likely have to sell Roger Ibanez to have enough funds.

Instead, the Old Lady is more interested in Romelu Lukaku, provided Dusan Vlahovic joins PSG. Per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Belgian is a direct request by Massimiliano Allegri, while the management isn’t so enthused by his arrival.

Our Take on Juventus and Morata

If the chatter is truthful, they have their priorities in order because he’s more of a second striker than a marksman. They’d need somebody more prolific to replace the Serb, which appears way closer to bolting than Chiesa.
