Juventus to Overhaul Squad Ahead of Next Season

‘The January transfer window has changed the perception of Juventus’ ambitions,’ reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri onboarded arguably the transfer talk of the window, Dusan Vlahovic, but they have other players in their roster to deal with whose contracts are expiring soon.

The report from the Italian outlet indicates that Massimiliano Allegri is eager to shape his team ahead of the next season by bringing in more youngsters and parting ways with players such as Adrien Rabiot and Alex Sandro, who are allegedly not in the tactician’s plans. Juventus will hear offers for the duo, with Premier League clubs reportedly interested in their respective services.

The uncertain futures of five players also takes precedence for the Old Lady. Mattia Perin, Federico Bernardeschi, Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado and Mattia De Sciglio all run out of contracts at the end of the season.

Alvaro Morata is another Bianconero whose future remains uncertain. He is on loan from Atletico Madrid but is expected to be made a permanent signing by Juventus in the summer – for a second time after his €20m move in July 2014 from Real Madrid.
