Juventus will have the opportunity to watch Alejandro Grimaldo closely when they face Benfica Wednesday. The left-back has entered the final year of his contract. The Bianconeri and Inter are among the clubs keeping tabs on him ahead of a potential Bosman move, TuttoSport informs.
Manuel Rui Costa, the president of the Portuguese club, recently addressed the future of the coveted defender and the talks to extend his expiring deal.
“It’s an ongoing process that we will analyze, but this is not the right time yet. It would be an issue if he were playing poorly. That’s the risk with somebody in this situation, but that’s not the case here.”
