Juventus Touted to Part Ways with Youth Talent in January

Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski has witnessed increased playing time since last season, as he garnered 47 appearances across all competitions in 2020/21. He has appeared without fail in Serie A and Champions League this season, making 9 caps in total.

Massimiliano Allegri’s return to the club has propelled his performances for the club but according to Calciomercato, if he does not better his displays in the coming weeks and months, the Bianconeri could put him up for sale in the upcoming winter transfer window in January.

According to the reports, his performances this season have not impressed the Juventus management and only an ‘explosion’ in form can change the club’s stance on his presence within Allegri’s roster.

The right winger is contracted with the club until June 2025 and has a market value of €40m, according to transfermarkt.

The versatile 21-year-old Atalanta youth product could well be only his way out of Turin in January, if he does not improve in the upcoming months – a decision that can minimally help offset Juventus’ financial distress or potentially fund another transfer.
