Juventus Tracking Chelsea Midfielder and Valencia Striker

Juventus are eyeing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in case Arthur moves to Arsenal. Moreover, they have inserted Valencia striker Maxi Gomez into their offensive shortlist. The Bianconeri were plotting to stand pat in January, but the injury to Federico Chiesa changed the script.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Old Lady have expressed interest in the Englishman if somebody left in the midfield. Arsenal have opened talks for Arthur, but it is not easy to sanction a deal given his mammoth evaluation. The Gunners requested him on loan. Adrien Rabiot and especially Aaron Ramsey are reportedly on the chopping block.

The 25-year-old has logged 3 assists in 20 appearances with the Blues this season. He previously played on temporary spells at Fulham and Crystal Palace. Loftus-Cheek would be easier to sign than the pricey alternatives Bruno Guimaraes and Renato Sanches, the expert adds. Before Juventus, Lazio and Roma pursued the Chelsea midfielder in the past.

The Bianconeri are also looking for a striker to bolster their struggling attack. Gomez is among the potential targets alongside Sardar Azmoun and Memphis Depay. He has scored 19 goals and provided 10 helpers in 91 matches with Valencia over the last 3 seasons. Juventus are mostly seeking a solution for the next six months. They will meet with Sassuolo next week to discuss the terms to sign Gianluca Scamacca. However, he is an objective for the summer and not for January given his price tag and the Neroverdi’s intentions, Goal.com informs.
