Juventus will have several decisions to make concerning their midfield in the summer. While Adrien Rabiot will choose his future based on whether they qualify for the Champions League, the management will have to make the call about several starlets and outcasts in the role.
Per Tuttomercatoweb, the Bianconeri have made up their mind about Niccolò Rovella. He’s been convincing in Monza and will stay on the roster to replace Leandro Paredes, who won’t be bought out. The switch will save them €10M gross in salaries.
Instead, Fabio Miretti has had an up-and-down season due to a few injuries. He has been outshined by Nicolò Fagioli, who’s more experienced. Juventus believe in the 19-year-old, but they might loan him out for a year. Monza would be interested in taking him in. Enzo Barrenechea could leave with the same formula as well, but it will hinge on their other moves at the position.
The Old Lady will have to find new homes for Arthur and Denis Zakaria following their temporary spells at Liverpool and Chelsea. The Swiss international is gathering interest from Turkey. A move there could fetch €6/7M. Instead, the club wishes to sell him to a Premier League side for €20M.

Rovella is ready to be at least a backup since he has plenty of Serie A matches under his belt given his time in Genoa. He seemed destined to stay last summer, but they called an audible when Paredes became available. Miretti and Barrenechea skipped some steps due to happenstances, and a campaign with regular minutes wouldn’t hurt them. Hans Nicolussi Caviglia might be more of a finished product than them.
