Juventus Willing to Facilitate Ramsey Return to the Premier League

Aaron Ramsey might get a shot against Roma due to the absences in the midfield. However, that will not impact the plans of the club. Selling him in January will be the top priority for Juventus after the summer attempts were in vain.

In particular, the Bianconeri are trying to convince the player to accept Newcastle’s courtship, Tuttomercatoweb reports. The midfielder turned down every offer in the previous window. The most interested club was Wolverhampton. However, the Welshman did not want to move to a second-level Premier League club.

It remains to be seen whether that will continue to be the case in January. Juventus are eager to shed his €7M salary off the books. They could even release him, with no fee for his next team or severance package, if he accepted a new destination.

In the meantime, Ramsey will be an option for Massimiliano Allegri in the upcoming clash. He played two full games with Wales during the break, but he headed back to Turin relatively early. Instead, Rodrigo Bentancur and Weston McKennie will return late after intercontinental flights. The two regulars might not get the nod.

Juventus will have some holes at the position also because Adrien Rabiot contracted Coronavirus. Arthur has put some minutes in his legs in the past two weeks. However, it is too early for him to start after an extended period of time on the shelf. The Welshman has featured in only 106 minutes thus far, starting just once.
