Barcelona have laid their eyes on another Juventus starter, Alex Sandro. The Blaugrana tried to sign Alvaro Morata earlier in January to no avail up until this point. The Brazilian international is said to be one of their options to bolster the left flank.

Juventus Wingback Alex Sandro Set to Leave Next Summer

Brazilian wingback Alex Sandro could very well be playing his last season in the Bianconeri colors. The Juventus left-back has witnessed his share of ups and downs in his career at the club, and Juventus already have plans to reinforce that position on the right wing.

Sandro has witnessed a downfall in form – making him a likely candidate to exit next summer. As per latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TuttoJuve), Juventus will not offer a contract extension for the ex-Porto defender, who sees his deal at the Allianz Stadium expire in the summer of 2023.

Taking that into consideration, Juventus are currently shortlisting right wingbacks to succeed the Brazilian. Borussia Dortmund’s Raphael Gurreiro is one of the first choices to arrive, according to latest reports from AS (via BeSoccer).

The Santos youth product is part of the Brazil squad for the World Cup in Qatar, along with Danilo and Gleison Bremer from the Bianconeri roster.
