Koopmeiners to Juventus Steadily Losing Momentum

Juventus have been pursuing Teun Koopmeiners throughout the summer, but their well-known interest hasn’t turned into a large bid yet despite the chatter. Atalanta’s brick wall continues to hold steady, especially following Gianluca Scamacca’s injury, Gianluca Di Marzio informs.

The Bianconeri plot to sign four more players this summer: two on loan and two on permanent deals. The Dutchman would fall into the second category, along with a winger. A second quick attacker and a defender, ideally Jean-Clair Todibo, would round out their acquisitions.

The pursuit of Koopmeiners isn’t correlated to Nico Gonzalez other than for the fact that both Atalanta and Juventus are after him. Fiorentina like some of their outcasts but want to do the deal cash only and negotiate for those separately. The Argentine will most likely leave.

The Old Lady needs to tweak their offer to bag Todibo. Nice are stiffening up after providing an opening to an initial loan early on.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Old Lady would have to find another midfielder if they missed out on La Dea’s ace but haven’t started eyeing alternative options at the moment. The ace wants the move but won’t put too much pressure on his team.

Our Take on Juventus and Koopmeiners

Deadline day is usually the only real deadline despite the ultimatums that pop up here and there throughout the summer, but Atalanta might be one of the few teams that don’t mess about if they don’t want to lose and replace a star late, especially if they have a lot on their plate already. The clock is ticking, and there’s very little traction. Still, using Douglas Luiz as a no.10 regularly wouldn’t be too shabby.
