Lautaro Martinez Agent Subtly Asks for a New Contract

Alejandro Camano, the representative of Lautaro Martinez, suggested that he fielded multiple offers this summer and that his client should be appropriately rewarded for turning them down and his contribution in recent years. The agent talked to FCInter1908.

“He scored a lot with Inter, plus he won the Scudetto and the World Cup. He did great things with his club and the national team, which hasn’t gone unnoticed among the top European clubs and in other markets.”

“There were some bids, but he didn’t want to listen to them. I don’t like to put pressure by bringing them to the front office. Lautaro Martinez is happy at Inter and in Milay. He’s about to welcome a new kid. His children will grow up here, as he did. The Nerazzurri recognized him by giving him the captain’s armband.”

Camano alluded that an extension could be forthcoming.

“Inter are continuing to develop their project, and he surely deserves a prominent role in it. Our relationship is excellent. We have to work together to give him what he deserves since he’s a top player. The management hasn’t called me yet, but I think everybody wants to do the best they can for him. The team is making an effort to renovate the squad. I’m sure they will do the same to valorize a player of the caliber of Lautaro Martinez.”
